Please read the following instructions closely so you can prepare your travel to enter and exit The Big E Fair for work!
*Important note about your Employee Badge: You will need your employee badge with you every time you wish to enter and step into the fairgrounds and to get through security. If you forget your badge when you show up for your shift contact your manager to coordinate next steps. If you lose your badge, contact your manager for next steps.
Q: How much time should I allot for travel plans to arrive for work inside the Big E?
A: In general, we recommend planning for at least an hour of travel time to make it into work on time for your scheduled shift. It’s always better to arrive early than show up late!
If you are a new team member working at the Big E for the first time, we recommend planning ahead and allowing yourself plenty of time (around 1 hour 30 minutes) to arrive at work so you can get familiar with Big E travel, entering the fairgrounds, and finding your work location (Wurst Haus, White Hut, Harpoon Beer Hall).
Q: If I’m planning to drive to work, where can I park?
A: Parking is available for Big E Employees at locations indicated below with SHUTTLE transportation for the fair. This will allow you to park at one of the two designated Big E employee parking lots (below). The shuttle bus takes around 30 minutes so plan ahead accordingly. The shuttle bus will make stops at every Gate at the Big E so we recommend getting off at the gate that is closest to your unit.
